Pedro Pou Fiol, on December 11, 1974, adquired the license for the taxi number 30 from the town council of Manacor.
This was the beginning of what was to become later the bus and taxi company 'Buses P. Pou'. His wife, Catalina Miquel Barceló, obtained her taxi licence in 1976, and they started to work together.
There were years of a lot of work and one vehicle was not enough. In 1980, an opportunity arose for them. In small town called San Juan a bus company was up for sale as the owner wanted to retire. They took advantage of this opportunity and bought it. This business was small and had two old buses.
The only two routes that it had were for school transport. The amount of work started to increase and they started to renew and enlarge their fleet. In 1986, the license of the taxi was expanded to a seven-seater, and the business adquired a larger vehicle.
In 2004, their son Juan Pou Miquel, joined the business.
